2136243787 Days of Nail Art.

Was organizing my photos and found out a dozen of nail art photos which I decided to blog about just to keep a record of the collection. X) Some of the photos are from 1254386482 years ago though. =x

First nail art I did on false nails. I have no idea how to wear them though. It seems painful to put on with glue. =3= So yeah, I guess I will just do them for fun. lol

Some acrylic nails tools which I got to try out. Also months ago, before I went for internship and abandoned them.. :(

I did not get the proper nail tool to hold the fake nail so I referred to THIS tutorial on how to paint on false nails. It's so easy! All you need is cellophane tape!

In case you were wondering what's the item packaged in clear zip pockets with numbers,
the false nails come in all different sizes ranging 1 to 10. These are my sizes :D

The false nail cutter also comes with clear description, make things easy for a newbie like me! :D

There were too many photos, so I combined them so I don't have to scroll so much. =x Some of them are taken with mobile phone which explains why they're blur, and most of them (or maybe all) were done during my internship in Korea though =3= I don't know why but staying there always gives me the mood to dress up nicely. XD
Guess you can tell I'm kind of obsess with pink, nude and mint lol

Nope, my skin is not flaky, lol those are the traces of top coat that I applied and lazy to remove =x

These are some nail art that I did for two of my japanese friends in korea. and it was actually few days before I'm leaving kr so I was in fact kind of emotional.. We held a mini party in someone's room to chit-chat, gossip, chew on snacks, made fruit cocktail, and watch some japanese movie. lol They were super nice! >3< I was keep like 'sure or not let me draw lol' and was being super cautious all the time lol but they were like 'just draw whatever you like! treat our nails as a platform to practice etc..' LOL T____T I miss you guys already!

Kawaii Nail Art.

Some quick nail arts I did over the past few weekends. I won't be posting any tutorials since all these doesn't really require any special techniques and I used a lot of ready made stuffs like nails stickers, mini metal balls, glitters, Fimo nail art canes etc. ♪(´ε` ) Also, I've introduced most of the tools and brushes I used, so they're pretty much all you need for these, don't wanna make my posts seem repetitive. (・x・)
*lazy butt excuse*
Nail Art #1.
I don't know what theme was this. lol Some girly lacey nonsense wht turf. I've used white lace nail stickers, strawberry Fimo canes and some glitter powder for this nail art. It's pretty simple and quick but you just have the get the layering sequence right so they won't become too thick and end up having uneven surface. #phailexperience

Nail Art #2.
These are the color polishes that I've used for this one. I left most of my polishes at home so I was somewhat squeezing my brain juice of what to paint (=﹏=) since all I have with me were few bottles of very limited color choices, I was also downgraded to times where I have to use toothpicks to create nail art lol! BUT it turned out to become my favorite one! haha! (=ε=) #successkid.jpg

Win kept telling me that my bunny looks very scary with those black hole eyes. LOL (ㅠㅅㅠ)

My new Skin Food nail polish. Glittery Pink. I was at first worried that it will not look good on me since the color is kind of neon, but it turns out really pretty cause the polish is a bit sheer. (-ᴥ-)♥ Skin Food polishes are really smooth and easy to apply but one thing about it is that it thickens up quite fast compare to my other nail polishs D:  #basedonpastexperience  In fact, I went to Skin Food to actually look for THIS yummy-colored Fruit Drink Nail Series. (╥﹏╥) But no luck, since local stores don't seem to have it yet.
How can anyone not love the lollipop candy-looking bottle? (≧ε≦)

Nail Art #3.
Quite a fail product cause it looks very messy. =\ I did it before bed time and I was sleepy so I rushed to finish the whole thing. (._.) The theme is cheerful Christmas so I added a lot of ribbons, gifts and all other colourful nonsense. Anyway, I'm gonna make a more neat and decent Christmas-themed nail art next time. Hopefully I'll manage to spare out some time again before Christmas. (´ε` )
Dear hands, Y U NO stop being shaky.  (ㅠㅅㅠ)

Till then, adios!

Colourful Leopard-prints Nail Art and 3D Gyaru Nail Art

This post is all about the nail arts that I did during these two weeks time! ♥
The first one that I'm gonna share about is this colourful leopard-printed nail art. If you know me well, you'll certainly know that I'm normally not an animal print person, I don't own anything with animal prints except crocodile and other similar reptile prints, the rest are simply too wild and sexy for me. (>~<") But I was being lazy that day and it so happened that I stumbled across a colorful leopard print nail art photo painted with neon colored dots. It looks good and easy to make, ♪( ´▽`) so I decided to try it.

I'm using pastel colors and a white base here for my leopard prints. (^o^)/* So it wouldn't look so bold and wild. The photo above are the nail polishes that I've used. :D hehe.

Then, use a brown nail color to paint the 'edges' on. I'm using brown instead of black for the purpose of toning it down too. I think bronze or a soft gold color will also turn out nice. ♪(=ε= )

After that, apply a layer of topcoat and tadaa! Nails are done in less than erm 10-15 minutes? haha.
The topcoat that I'm currently using is Seche Vite™ dry fast top coat.  It's super thick and awesome! It dries up really fast and leaves your nail glossy. And the best thing is that, you don't even have to wait for the bottom layer to dry when applying! Woots! Saves me plenty of time. (=ε=) Seriously a must-have item if you love playing with your nails. After applied this, my nail lasted for almost 2 weeks without chipping! ♪( ´▽`)

These are obviously not my fingers hahah! Sis wanted a simple and girly nail art so I did this for her. I also did another one for mum that day lol but since they look almost the same (mum wanted a simpler one =ε="), so I didn't take picture of it.

------------------------------------------------------------

I finally received a new batch of nail art decos that I bought from Nail Princess Gallery yesterday! The reason I keep buying from this shop is because they're selling everything at a very cheap price and there's a whole lot of pretty nail decos to choose from! ♡♡♡

My favorite buy this time is definitely the 3D gel nail art pen!
(Wanted to get it last time but it was out of stock) :(
It is similar to the normal art pen but what's awesome is that it produces 3D results similar to arcylic and gel nails! (≧▽≦) It is a bit watery and not as sharp but I think it's really good enough. It doesn't need a lot of troublesome procedures like acrylic and gel and it's quite cheap too.

This is my first attempt! :D - Gyaru Nails!
I only do heavy-decorated nails once in a while cause they're very time-consuming to make. (╥﹏╥) and I always end up decorating only my left hand sobs. Anyone willing to help me with my right hand? lol XD

The 3D-looking bow, flowers, heart and gem are all made using the gel pen. ♡
Make sure you have a thick base applied on because I don't know what it might do to your nails =\ It is in fact recommended to use it the other way which I will show later. :)

Also, I used a shimmery/clear colored nail polish this time to replace the glue because somehow it makes my nails weak and it's a pain in the ass to wash off! Argh! (>人<;)

I really love the Victorian-looking pearl/gem design on my thumb nail! This is how it looks without flash. :P I did not manage to find one as large as this so I made it myself using the gel pen and some shimmery chips. :P

So this is the other way of using the gel pen. It's like making cookies! hahaha. First you get the basic shape done on a piece of plastic/glass or laminated paper, leave it to dry. After that, start coloring up the details with nail colors. Easy as that. :D You can keep them to use as stickers or nail decos. ♪( ´▽`)  There are also other colors available in the shop (you can get them in a set) but they're all very bright/neon colors which I don't really fancy so I only bought the white ones ♪( ´θ`)ノ

That's all for this long, texty post! I will not be updating again anytime soon due to my busy coming schedule.
 (╥﹏╥) Kthxbai.

Bohemian Style Turqoise Nail Art

Whee I'm back! While editing the photos from my holiday trip, I'll share about a nail art which I painted some time ago. It is inspired from the Nail Up! Magazine and a cute ring set I bought from Travellers Jewellery. They sell tonnes of pretty, affordable accessories and their service is quite efficient too. I did this nail art because I was sort of sick of geometry nail arts with dots and lines, laces and florals which I usually add =3=, so I decided to try something different instead, and it matches the adorable ring set so well! Here, I'm using my favorite bottle of nail polish, it's from Elianto (in case you're curious), I wouldn't say it's super good in quality, but for it's price, I think they're okay, and I absolutely love the color! ♥  I've also got a new bottle of similar but lighter color from Nature Republic! Will do a nail art with it this weekend :D

Erm I'm not sure if it's bohemian style, because the tiny elephants make me feel so indian hahaha XD

*Do some random indian dance moves*

I shall continue to do my editing before I lose my blogging mood and decided to play games again. Kbai.

Black and White Nail Art

Whee.. did I mention that I love receiving parcels? XD It's like opening pressies! I absolutely love the feeling hahaha. and it's so addictive till.....

... this happens.  (._.) and these are just part of them for this month what turf.
真是越忙越会花钱。

Anyway, of all the parcels, the one that I'm most anticipated and interested with are these!
Some pearls, tiny metal balls, laces, decorating stuffs made of soft clays, lacey nail stickers, some brushes etc... and a pair of falsies?! lol which I think is a free gift haha

I got all the stuffs at quite a low price, compared to many sites that I've visited. The service is good too, it didn't took long for these to arrive even though they are sent from east m'sia. I initially wanted to get the acrylic nail art stuffs since I've always been drawing and decorating my nails and the pre-made ones are not really cheap and sometimes not even cute! what turf. So I thought it could be nice if I just buy the tools and make whatever things I want, like bunnies and rilakkuma haha! But I end up didn't buy them because after I read up some articles online; according to them, unprofessional use of it could lead to the risk of having weak, brittle nails, or worse, having allergic reaction to it. o.o I don't know how true is that, but it's better not risk. Save the troubles also haha, since the procedure seems really mafan. =3=

Done sorting them!

and Tadaa! This is my first nail art done using the tools! lol Inspired by Tsubasa's black and white nail art featured in the Nail Up! magazine.

First I painted my nails by alternating the black and white nail polishes. I hardly buy dark colored nail polish so this is the darkest shade I have. Glittery black, which looks more like a grey color haha.

Then use a french manicure nail strip tape to paint the white color tip.  Newbie like me still have problem peeling the strip D: The paint came off a little haihs.

For dotting part, I used the two-way nail art pen from Tony Moly which Vin-chan got for me as an omiyage. It's super useful! ♥
Alternatively you can use a dotting tool like the pink one shown above, which is also quite nice to use, provided that you have a stable hand lol :(

Its quite messy but I like hahah! I'll be doing another one this weekend since exam is over! Whee!
and it'll most probably be a girly themed one! ✿

Cath Kidston Inspired Nail Art

Being so frustrated with work, I decided to take a break and do something I love (and therapeutic) instead.
Inspired from Cath Kidston prints! ✿ Yay florals!
I did not expect this to turn out well because everything I did today end up bad.
ARGHHH.

Now just the thought of having so many pending tasks makes me feel so low...
